The shoulders are the frame around your lungs, when they are tight and stuck, its difficult to find your lungs on the front side of the body. In this practice we make our way to open the shoulders by working with the wrists which are miniature collarbones, and where there is space in the wrists, there will be space in the shoulders. Neck tension is often a byproduct of tight shoulders and their need to grip to protect the spine.
